La base de una adecuada estrategia de intervención debe apoyarse en un correcto diagnóstico de la situación para conocer la dimensión del problema, ya sea en el hospital o centro de salud, y sus causas. Por lo que creemos que, principalmente, las líneas de trabajo deberían ir destinadas a establecer un diagnóstico claro del síndrome en el/la enfermero/a y a localizar las causas a fin de establecer políticas y estrategias de intervención individual y colectiva.
