El presente libro trata sobre el uso de Bloques de Tierra Comprimida (BTC) estabilizados con Cemento Portland Ordinario (CPO) y fibra de coco para muros de carga, en el se presentan los resultados de pruebas a compresión simple en estado seco y húmedo, así como las pruebas de absorción y los resultados del experimento de campo. Plantea la posibilidad de utilizar un material alternativo a partir de una técnica milenaria modificada como es el uso de la tierra cruda, en la arquitectura actual, lo que puede permitir a las personas de bajo recurso poder accede a una vivienda digna y de bajo costo. Así mismo se comprueba el mito de que la arquitectura de tierra es la principal causante del la enfermedad del mal de 'Chagas', ya que se presentan los estudios epidemiológicos que demuestran los contrario.
