Together with the Rural Social Movements, the aim is to break down the ’fences’ of the university, which for many decades was not a space for rural subjects, and where the Degree in Rural Education (EDUCampo) emerges strongly to confront and ’break down’ these ’fences’. The main thrust of the struggle of Rural Education, and thus of EDUCampo, is for the democratisation of land and knowledge, placing rural subjects as protagonists of rights, with diverse life experiences capable of epistemic, social, economic and educational enunciation, capable of transforming social reality.
