This book assesses the challenges related to accessibility and educational support for students with limited mobility at the Bondeko Tuendeleye village school in Kinshasa. The infrastructure is inadequate, featuring steps without ramps, narrow doors, and a lack of appropriate restroom facilities for students with disabilities. The condition of the floors and the layout of outdoor spaces hinder the independence of students who use wheelchairs or crutches. The lack of specialized teaching materials and differentiated teaching methods are the major challenges considered to be educational barriers. Lacking training in inclusive education, teachers struggle to adapt their lessons to the pace of students with disabilities.
