L’activité antimicrobienne et molluscicide des extraits aqueux et méthanoliques de Balanites aegyptiaca a été évaluée dans le but de déterminer leur potentiel antimicrobien et molluscicide. L’évaluation phytochimique des extraits aqueux et méthanoliques des feuilles, de l’écorce de la tige et de la racine de B. aegyptiaca a révélé la présence de certains métabolites secondaires dans toutes les parties de la plante, mais pas dans les deux extraits. Le criblage antimicrobien des extraits aqueux et méthanoliques a été effectué sur Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aureginosa, Salmonella typhi et Candida albicans.
