Aventuras con Fourier es un libro diferente y novedoso. Aunque su tema es tan abstracto como lo pueden ser los desarrollos de Fourier, es asimismo un libro ameno y divertido, sin mermar por ello su alto valor didáctico. Es muy afortunado que nuestros estudiantes que han de adentrarse en estos temas y al cálculo infinitesimal —frecuentemente presentados de manera árida y complicada—, puedan contar con un texto introductorio y lúdico; un texto escrito por estudiantes también, para reflejar y analizar sus dificultades, dudas y descubrimientos durante el aprendizaje de la materia. Han creado con ello una magnífica introducción al tema.
