Atualmente, apesar da reforma da educação na República Democrática do Congo com o ensino básico para todos, nomeadamente com a gratuitidade do ensino primário, assiste-se a uma redução da qualidade do ensino. No ensino secundário, as condições de aprendizagem não garantem a aquisição de conhecimentos e competências ao nível do ensino básico. A inadequação dos materiais didácticos e o tempo atribuído a uma aula implicam dificuldades de aprendizagem na Abordagem Situacional (SA). Graças ao método misto, os resultados provam que a APS desenvolve o pensamento crítico, facilita a auto-aprendizagem e a construção de conhecimentos e competências. O fator ambiente de sala de aula melhora a aprendizagem (r= 0,238*, P=0,025
