Na základe spracovania medzinárodne uznávaných výskumov a vedecky podložených poznatkov pozývam čitateľa nielen na cestu labyrintom symptómov, ale aj k spoločnému odhaľovaniu „tajomstiev', ktoré sa skrývajú za nimi.Zároveň stručne sumarizujem aktuálne poznatky o výskyte a možných príčinách vzniku autizmu a sprevádzam čitateľa diagnostickým procesom. Cielene sa venujem aj aspektom terapie, pretože viem, že zorientovať sa medzi rôznymi prístupmi a metódami rozvoja môže byť pre rodičov veľkou výzvou.Teoretické informácie dopĺňam príkladmi zo života, ktoré nielen uľahčujú čítanie, ale aj poľudšťujú odborný obsah knihy.
