In Mexiko ist PET die Hauptquelle für die Verschmutzung von Böden und Gewässern. Die Strategie der Wiederverwendung von Siedlungsabfällen ist Teil der Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung in der Agenda 2030. Die Kreislaufwirtschaft fördert die Bewertung der Wiederverwendung von Abfällen, wie z. B. städtischen PET-Flaschen. PET ist ein sehr häufig vorkommendes Abfallmaterial und könnte für den 3-D-Druck geeignet sein. Allerdings leidet PET unter hydrolytischem Abbau und Steifigkeit bei wechselnden Kühltemperaturen, was die Fließfähigkeit des Materials bei der Extrusion beeinträchtigt. Andererseits ist PP ein leichtes, flexibles Polymer mit hoher Schlagzähigkeit. Aus diesen Gründen zielt die vorliegende Arbeit darauf ab, Mischungen aus r-PET/v-PP (10, 30 und 50 %) aus PET-Flaschenabfällen zu formulieren, die zu Filamenten (3 mm Durchmesser) extrudiert werden, um die Dichte, die kristalline Struktur und die augenblickliche plastische Verformung durch einen Schlagversuch zu untersuchen, um die Fließfähigkeit von PET bei der Extrusion zu erhöhen und die Sprödigkeit beim Abkühlungsprozess des Filaments zu verringern.
