Existe um grande número de agentes causadores da geração desses agentes nocivos, porém, uma dessas fontes é evitável e é um dos principais fatores que contribuem para o stress oxidativo: o ruído. Este livro tenta esclarecer o que é realmente o ruído e como ele afeta nossas vidas, atitudes e saúde. A autora tentou criar uma ligação entre a biologia, a química e a física da geração/criação assistida por ruído e a destruição causada pelos radicais livres. Também é apresentada uma breve descrição de vários problemas de saúde.
