Questo studio analizza gli effetti sinergici degli estratti grezzi di citronella e di lime sulla salute ipofisaria e sulla fertilità dei ratti albini. Venti ratti sono stati divisi in quattro gruppi: controllo, solo citronella, solo lime e un gruppo combinato citronella-calce. Ogni gruppo ha ricevuto trattamenti specifici per sette giorni. L’analisi istologica ha rivelato un’architettura pituitaria normale con una funzione migliorata nel gruppo di trattamento combinato, suggerendo un effetto sinergico. Questo studio evidenzia il potenziale della combinazione di estratti di lemongrass e lime come opzione naturale e accessibile per promuovere la fertilità attraverso il miglioramento della salute ipofisaria e dell’equilibrio ormonale nei modelli animali.
