Niniejsze badanie dotyczyło aplikacji do notacji muzycznej jako wsparcia w nauczaniu teorii muzyki, biorąc pod uwagę współczesne przemiany w sposobie uczenia się, interakcji z językiem muzycznym i budowania wiedzy teoretycznej za pośrednictwem technologii cyfrowych. Problem badawczy koncentrował się na zrozumieniu, w jaki sposób aplikacje te mogą przyczynić się do nauczania i uczenia się teorii muzyki, rozszerzając słuchanie analityczne, percepcję rytmiczną i czytanie symboliczne w kontekście szkolnym i szkoleniowym.
