Alibriana and the Hickerpotamus is the story of Alibriana Jones and her new friend. Alibriana acquires a hippopotamus while her parents are at work. Living in a tenth floor apartment with a large animal is no issue for Alibriana. Or is it? The hippo has an allergic reaction to pizza and ends up hiccupping his way through ten floors (literally). Along the way, Alibriana and the hippo meet the nicest neighbors. This is a counting-to-ten book that would be most enjoyed by children ages 2-7. It should also keep the reader entertained with subtle humor exhibited throughout.
