L’ouvrage se propose de repenser les actions menées dans un musée d’art. Le choix de ce thème repose sur la nécessité de réfléchir aux fondements conceptuels et méthodologiques qui guident l’action pédagogique dans un musée d’art, dans le but de suggérer des propositions futures pour ce domaine d’étude. La réflexion présentée ici s’est appuyée sur trois institutions muséales du Rio Grande do Sul : le Musée des arts visuels Ruth Schneider - Mavrs, à Passo Fundo, le Musée des arts Ado Malagoli- Margs du Rio Grande do Sul, à Porto Alegre, et le Musée d’art Leopoldo Gotuzzo - Malg, à Pelotas. Les résultats de l’étude permettent d’identifier les publics des musées et la manière dont ils réagissent aux activités éducatives qui y sont menées.
