Latest developments in the field of image processing have been involved to support several significant worldwide applications. Image processing was introduced for five different purposes as visualization, image sharpening and restoration, image retrieval, pattern measurement and image recognition. Image processing is broadly classified into two categorize such as; analog and digital. Digital image processing is being used in many applications and grown up in wider range with numerous techniques and algorithms. Sharing of images, videos and multimedia via social websites and android applications has become more popular in today’s world. Different fields are supported by digital image processing over televisions, photography (Recognition - automatic character recognition, fingerprint, iris, face, lip-print, palm), robotics, remote sensing (aerial and satellite images), medical diagnosis (X-ray images, microscopic images, endoscope images, ultrasound images, magnetic resonance imaging), forensic studies, military and industrial applications.
