Principles of Nationalism’s main content are against the rule of the Qing Dynasty, avoiding China from being carved up and condominium, and fighting for national independence and liberation. Principle of Democracy is the core of three principles of the people. It exposes and criticizes feudal absolutism, and replaces with 'constitutional democracy' republican system. The regime’s brake is also an important content of Principle of Democracy. Principle of People’s Livelihood is Sun Yat-sen’s 'social revolution' program, the theme of which is to realize the modernization of China, the development of social economy, and to achieve the people’s welfare. It criticizes the capitalist economy, and shows sympathy to 'socialism.'
