A investigação foi realizada numa variedade de manga Langra, com vinte anos de idade, no B. A. C., em Sabour, com o objetivo de avaliar o crescimento, a produtividade e a qualidade da manga. Os tratamentos consistiram em ureia a 2%, NAA a 50 e 100 ppm, etrel a 100 e 200 ppm e as suas diferentes combinações, PBZ a 5, 7,5 e 10 g de substância ativa em pulverização com água e controlo (sem pulverização). Os resultados obtidos indicaram que as plantas tratadas com PBZ a 7,5 g apresentaram os melhores resultados em termos de rendimento e relação custo-benefício. Verificou-se que a segunda melhor combinação foi a ureia a 2% + etrel a 200 ppm no que diz respeito ao lucro líquido total.
