Este trabalho trata da transmissão e aplicação de procedimentos textuais do tipo descrição de pessoas. É também realizada uma análise dos textos produzidos pelos alunos sobre este tipo de texto.Com base nisso, é elaborada a seguinte questão de investigação, que constitui a base deste trabalho: De que forma os alunos do 2.º ano de uma escola primária comunitária organizam os seus procedimentos textuais para descrições de pessoas antes e depois de uma série de aulas em que foram ensinados o tipo de texto e os seus procedimentos textuais? Os alunos compreenderam os procedimentos textuais ensinados na série de aulas e são capazes de formular e caracterizar os seus textos de acordo com o tipo de texto utilizando os procedimentos textuais recém-aprendidos?
