2015 Reprint of 1940 Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition. Not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. First published in 1940, this curious work chronicles the history of Black men in pictorial form. All pages are illustrated with black and white drawings, as depicted on the cover art, laying out the history of Africans from the beginning to 1940. Each illustration, mostly biographical in nature, is accompanied by text describing the historical content or significance of the illustration.
