Celem badania było porównanie względnej siły ciężarowców startujących w różnych kategoriach. Jako badanych wybrano trzydziestu mężczyzn startujących w różnych kategoriach podczas „12. Igrzysk Azji Południowej', które odbyły się w Guwahati w stanie Assam w 2016 roku. Ich względną siłę zarejestrowano w kilogramach. Wyniki zawodników przeanalizowano poprzez obliczenie średnich, a dane poddano jednoczynnikowej analizie wariancji w celu ustalenia istotności statystycznej średnich. Wyniki wykazały, że ciężarowcy startujący w różnych kategoriach różnią się istotnie pod względem siły względnej. Wybrany poziom istotności wynosił 0,05. Po zastosowaniu testu post hoc stwierdzono istnienie istotnej różnicy w sile względnej. Najwyższą siłę względną wykazała jednak grupa I, której średnia wartość była najwyższa spośród wszystkich grup.
