This is a book inspired by a South African Expat's passion to save the rhinos in South Africa. The idea was to create awareness about rhino poaching around the world while encouraging children (and adults!) to get creative by writing about rhinos. Raising awareness and funds for anti‐poaching efforts in The Pilanesberg National Park is the ultimate goal of the Writing For Rhinos project and 100% of all funds raised through the sale of this book will go to The Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust in aid of rhino protection efforts. In this book, you will find a great mix of fact and fiction! You will find information about rhinos and why they are being poached. You will also learn all about who is working hard to save the rhinos in The Pilanesberg National Park and how these superheroes go about that very important job! There is also a list of things you can do to get involved in the fight against poaching so that you too, can help save the rhinos.In between all the important information you will find stories written by children and adults from all over the world. Some will leave you with a warm heart while others will get you thinking. We have included unique pieces of art which have been submitted by children who are standing up for our rhinos in addition to a few pieces contributed by our illustrator, Sradha Vaher.Get ready to dive and become involved in the fight to save our rhinos!
