Wpływ stylu komunikacji lidera na środowisko pracy świadome bezpieczeństwa (SCWE) w krajowych elektrowniach jądrowych został oceniony za pomocą opisowego badania ilościowego. Próba 379 pracowników elektrowni została przebadana w celu określenia elementów stylu komunikacji lidera, które sprzyjają SCWE. Wyniki pokazują, że styl komunikacji lidera znacząco wpływa na środowisko pracy świadome bezpieczeństwa. Udowodniono, że konkretne atrybuty, takie jak dowcip, artykulacja, ujawnianie siebie i opanowanie społeczne, potwierdzenie i doświadczenie, bezpośrednio wpływają na prawdopodobieństwo zgłaszania przez pracowników problemów i obaw. Omówiono bezpośredni wpływ stylu komunikacji lidera na bezpieczne operacje w zakładzie oraz działania komunikacyjne, które liderzy mogą podjąć w celu poprawy bezpieczeństwa tych operacji.
