Volume 26 is designed to be used with WORLD WAR II SEA WAR, VOLUME 10: IL DUCE DEPOSED (July 1943 - September 1943). As in previous Additions & Corrections volumes, Volume 26 provides new data, corrects old data entries and adds general background information to help form the context of the war, especially how the world leaders made decisions. Of particular note, the following events have been significantly expanded since Volume 10 was published:EUROPEAN THEATRE (ETO): * The Allied landing on Sicily. * Updates to U-boat actions.CHINA, BURMA AND INDIA THEATRE (CBI): * Increased US air attacks on Japanese shipping. * Updates to the Royal Indian Navy operations.PACIFIC THEATRE (PTO): * Battles in the Solomon Islands. * The Japanese evacuation of Kiska Island * Allied landings in New Guinea. * Updates to the Royal New Zealand Navy.
