Where Outlaws Roam

Banished from his country, an embarrassment to his family and the Queen of Great Britain, Tucker Shaw laid in the bottom of a ship for weeks on his way to America. His disregard for law and order in his homeland called for severe punishment, but because his family had ties to the Queen he was given a most unusual sentence. He was to be discarded on the shores where outlaws roam. Though Tucker was shocked and saddened at being exiled from his homeland, he was somewhat excited about having the chance to see and rub shoulders with notorious outlaws. The idea of seeing Dodge City, Kansas and other lawless towns appealed to him. But when he was dumped ashore what he found was anything but outlaws and Wild West towns. He was in the middle of swamps infested with alligators, and his first encounter with people was a Cajun family with ruthless ways and a tyrant by the name of Reed Fletcher. Imprisoned by the swamp and Fletcher he wondered if he would ever see the heart of outlaw country. Tucker finds himself walking a fine line between outlaw and lawman, but sooner or later he would have to be one or the other. The West demands it. Meanwhile the beautiful Cajun, Macie, whom he met in the swamps, would haunt him while he took on the law and evaded Reed Fletcher at the same time. He meets an old sheriff by the name of Sanders and liked him immediately. Circumstances the old lawman was in dictated Tucker's decision as to what he had to do next. In order to help out his new found friend he was made to wear a badge. Tucker had read and wondered what it would be like to live in the Wild West, and he was fast finding out. He was a young carefree flamboyant man until he was left where outlaws roam... until he unknowingly fell in love with the beautiful dark eyed Macie. No one could be trusted and no one or anything was safe. Though wearing a badge, Tucker would be forced to make another hard decision, take Macie and run or let her be taken to jail for a murder she swore she didn't commit. The hell of it was, all the evidence pointed at her, and her motive... protect Tucker Shaw.
