What’s Already There

You Know More Than You Think is a five-book experiential series exploring perceptual literacy: how awareness forms, stabilizes, differentiates, navigates, and ultimately encounters the larger forces shaping reality. In What’s Already There, Elly Flippen offers a grounded, non-mystical exploration of perception before thought: the body’s natural ability to register tone, atmosphere, connection, and pattern before conscious reasoning begins. Before thought, there is sensation. Before explanation, there is awareness. You may have sensed more than you were taught to trust. This book invites you into the quiet moment before thinking, the place where perception begins long before words, analysis, or belief step in.Through structured, real-world explorations, you will:recognize how attention functions as a relational signaldetect subtle shifts in emotional tone and atmosphereexperience your body as a sensing instrumentdifferentiate awareness, attention, and focusstabilize perception through grounding and coherencenotice the quiet signals that arise before thoughtThis is not a book about mystical powers. It is a grounded exploration of how perception begins.Rooted in contemporary neuroscience and perceptual science, while honoring the perceptual research lineage of Ingo Swann, this book bridges lived experience with disciplined inquiry. No belief system is required.Only curiosity.Because there is something there that makes sense. It has been present all along.
