There is a need to foster personal growth and self-esteem.Today’s youth are at risk! They lack the tools necessary to establish a strong foundation for themselves as they journey through life. There are lessons to be learned and not enough guidance and instruction to build character. I came to this revelation after becoming actively involved with the youth in a growing church in California. It became apparent to me the youth of today are not prepared to manage the serious issues they will encounter. In far too many cases, basic training has not been provided by parents and is needed to supplement their formal education. Therefore, I was inspired to write the book, “What Young Minds Need to Know,” which gives purpose and guidance in areas of self-presentation, tips on meal preparation, how to properly handle difficult situations, and everything between. This book serves as an answer to “what-to-do-when” for those who not only seek to become young men and women of God, but to be positive contributors to society. You will find “What Young Minds Needs to Know” is filled with wisdom and provide guidelines on personal development, proper etiquette training, health and sex education, budget preparation, and money management. Additional topics covered in this book include:• Why God Must be First • How to Establish Good Credit• Maintaining Health and Wellness• Proper Grooming• Fashion & Wardrobe care• Domestic ExcellenceLife is warfare. This small book has an influential message that will help our youth win the battles they face today. Together, we can be a positive influence on people and directly affect the lives of many, young and old, through the distribution of a book that was inspired by them.
