Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Sozialwissenschaften allgemein, Note: 1,7, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Jugend in Deutschland im Ost-West Vergleich, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Bei den rebellierenden Studenten der Generation 68 handelte es sich nicht um geistlose, gelangweilte und faule Menschen. Im Gegenteil. Die Studenten waren wissbegierig, in politischen Dingen sehr bewandert, zielsicher und verantwortungsbewusst. Viele von ihnen hatten eine harte Erziehung genossen, denn Zucht und Ordnung waren die Grundsätze der Elterngeneration. Zu dieser Zeit stammten die meisten Studenten aus der Oberschicht und dabei vor allem aus akademisch geprägten Familien.Die 68er fühlten sich durch die strenge Erziehung der Eltern, und die damit verbundenen Vorschriften, unterdrückt. Dadurch kam es zu einer Auflehnung gegen die Werte der Eltern und zu einem Wertewandel in der eigenen Lebensgestaltung. Diese Arbeit soll die 68er-Bewegung in Ost und West gegenüber stellen.
