Zwei literarisch-musikalische Programme aus der breiten Auswahl an Jubilaeumsangeboten der Fakultaet fuer Musik (The University of Toronto), die auf die weitere Forschung neugierig machen und die schoepferischen Initiativen befluegeln. Im Jahre 2018 feierte die Fakultaet fuer Musik ihr 100. Jubilaeum. Die Besucher der zahlreichen Veranstaltungen liessen sich von der Feststimmung der Studierenden und Beschaeftigten anstecken und erlebten unvergessliche Momente zusammen. In diesem Leseheft finden Sie zwanzig Aufsaetze ueber zwei Musikabende: 'Winternaechte: Lieder ueber Traeume und Sehnsucht' und 'Forgotten Melodies: Opera’s Hidden Gems.' Das erste Programm entstand dank der Zusammenarbeit der Fakultaet fuer Musik (Mia Bach), der Deutschen Abteilung der Toronto Universitaet (Markus Stock) und des Goethe-Instituts (Marje Zschiesche Stock), und das zweite Programm wurde von den Studierenden unter der Leitung von David Eliakis vorbereitet und praesentiert.
