Wanton Needs tells a dramatic tale of adventure and international crime. After the global financial crisis, Jim, who got mixed up with some of the perpetrators who caused the crisis, got hold of a fortune. But he finds himself in something of a predicament, having started off in San Francisco where he made the fortune, and ending up in southern Nigeria with the feds hot on his tail. Readers are thus drawn into Jim's world, a young adult trapped in a life of plenty and seeking to satisfy himself, despite the many obstacles posed by his circumstances. He cannot spend his newfound fortune until the hype has died down, but he keeps falling victim to urgent desires for women and Wanton Needs. He has to get through the next eight months by fitting in with an uncompromising society that does not take kindly to his bold antics. Balancing hardcore sexuality with deprivation and depravity, Jim experiences emotional carnage as he constantly finds himself on the wrong side of society's expectations.
