Znalezienie korzystnego sposobu wykorzystania popiołu ze stawu (PA) w stabilizacji gruntu, a także w innych zastosowaniach geotechnicznych, takich jak nasypy, konstrukcja, materiał zasypowy i materiał podbudowy itp. Ponieważ sam popiół stawowy (PA) nie wykazuje pożądanych właściwości inżynieryjnych, w celu stabilizacji materiału pożądane jest dodanie cementu. Popiół stawowy (PA) może być wykorzystywany z kruszywem lub bez niego jako warstwa nawierzchni lub w innych projektach geotechnicznych. W niniejszym badaniu wykorzystano popiół stawowy (PA) bez kruszywa, ponieważ celem jest wykorzystanie dużych ilości tego materiału odpadowego. Popiół ze stawu został zebrany z 'GURU GOBIND SINGH SUPER THERMAL POWER PLANT (GGSSTP), ROPAR' Punjab, INDIE. Do badania użyto zwykłego cementu portlandzkiego. Celem tego badania jest zbadanie właściwości geotechnicznych mieszanki cementu i popiołu ze stawu (PA). Aby osiągnąć ten cel, przeprowadzono standardowy test proctora, test ściskania bez ograniczeń i testy zginania na różnych próbkach testowych. Dodatek cementu do popiołu ze stawu (PA) zastosowano w proporcjach 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18% przez 7, 14, 28 dni utwardzania.
