Ziel dieser Arbeit war es zu zeigen, dass die fehlende Rückkehr der Schwarzen aus Havanna, Remedios, Sancti Spiritus, Santiago de Cuba, Holguín usw. nach Kuba die neue guineisch-ecuadorianische Identität sowohl in materieller als auch in immaterieller Hinsicht unauslöschlich geprägt hat. Sie haben die neue guineisch-ecuadorianische Identität sowohl materiell als auch immateriell unauslöschlich geprägt. Infolgedessen finden sich einige Begräbnisriten und -tänze in den Ñáñigos und Abakuá von Havanna und Bioko, einige sprachliche Substrate und/oder Kubanismen in dem heute in Äquatorialguinea gesprochenen Spanisch. Die Kubanismen, eine Art Glottophagie nach Calvet, wurden als Repräsentation der kubanischen Identität im Herzen der kulturellen Identität Guineas wahrgenommen.
