Henrik Frier Hansen was born in 1965 in Denmark. In the year 2000 he decided to quit his good job, sell his house and the old Toyota - in order to move to Chile with his Chilean wife and try a different lifestyle as settler and pioneer in a small rural part of southern Chile.Many things have happened since, which are all part of a completely different story, but many trips have been made not only to and from Chile - but also extensive travels within the country. Encounters with an extraordinary country, its wonderful people and not least a spectacular nature has been the foundation and inspiration for this book.
