While his name doesn’t stand out amongst other influencers during that era, like Washington or Jefferson, Harris’ life is woven into the fabric of America’s birth. He funded and supported the cause for freedom and took brave measures to secure the land that would eventually become Pennsylvania’s capital city, Harrisburg.
