Questa ricerca è strutturata analizzando ciò che dicono le due principali riviste di salute pubblica, dopo dieci anni dalla promulgazione della Legge 11.340 del 2006 (Legge Maria da Penha/LMP). A ciò ha fatto seguito una revisione della letteratura, strutturando e riassumendo i principali risultati. Questa tipologia ha permesso di riflettere sui progressi, le sfide e il contesto della produzione di conoscenza di fronte all’effettiva attuazione della LMP. I risultati di questa discussione mi hanno fatto riflettere su chi è questa donna? Cosa vuole? Cosa può fare? In questo contesto ha luogo la seconda scrittura. Attraverso la mappatura di una straniera nella sanità pubblica, propongo la riterritorializzazione come possibile percorso dopo episodi di violenza. Costruisco la mia cassetta degli attrezzi come ricercatrice in salute pubblica come un modo per strutturare la mia traiettoria. La narrazione cartografica mostra lo spostamento da un territorio all’altro, le influenze di alcuni riferimenti che costituiscono un modo di guardare al contesto della violenza domestica contro le donne e di superarlo.
