Sobre IBD

Las escuelas doctorales intercontinentales de Matemáticas PUCP-UVA tuvieron su origen durante la Conferencia Satelital del Congreso Internacional de Matemáticas, en honor a J.M. Aroca en Valladolid en 2006. Allí se planteó la creación de las escuelas las cuales se realizarían anualmente, durante dos semanas, y estarían compuestas por cuatro cursos.Desde 2011, las Escuelas son coorganizadas por la Ponticia Universidad Católica del Perú y, mediante videoconferencia, se retransmiten en simultáneo a los nodos deColombia, México y Brasil. En 2015 la Escuela se realizó en la PUCP gracias al auspicio del Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées (CIMPA), la FundaciónCompositio Mathematica, la International Mathematical Union (IMU), la Red Peruana de Universidades (RPU) y los vicerrectorados de Investigación y Administrativo de la PUCP.Este libro reúne los contenidos de los cursos que se ofrecieron durante la VIII Escuela Doctoral de Matemáticas PUCP-UVA.
