Le travail met en lumière les problèmes auxquels sont confrontées les associations de théâtre et des arts de l’oralité à Porto-Novo au Bénin au plan administratif. Les facteurs d’ordre organisationnels et structurels constituant les déterminants de la gestion administrative au sein de ces associations ont ainsi fait l’objet d’analyse. La théorie de la typologie des structures d’organisation de Henry Mintzberg a été mise à contribution.Le manque de compétences des membres en rédaction administrative, une gestion unilatérale presque centralisée, des difficultés de collaborations entre associations sœurs et le faible investissement des pouvoirs publics dans le secteur artistique et culturel sont les faiblesses majeures soulevées et passées au peigne fin par les acteurs dans le cadre de ce travail.
