Recentemente, a investigação tem demonstrado um interesse cada vez maior em estudar os efeitos do desporto e da atividade física na reabilitação e reintegração de pacientes com dependência química. No entanto, a maioria dos estudos limita-se ao período de internamento hospitalar. Este estudo procura, portanto, ampliar este campo de investigação e concentra-se na obtenção de dados subjetivos de pacientes dependentes sobre possíveis relações entre dependência, fatores de integração social e atividade física, durante e após o internamento hospitalar.
