Genaue und rechtzeitige Reservierungen sind für viele dienstleistungsorientierte Unternehmen notwendig, um einen angemessenen Service und positive Kundenerfahrungen zu gewährleisten. In dieser Studie haben die Autoren Faktoren wie Kundenzufriedenheit und positive Erfahrungen während des Aufenthalts in einer Herberge berücksichtigt, die mit dem Reservierungsverfahren beginnen. Zur Verwaltung der Kundenreservierungen für die Herberge der Bulacan State University (BulSU) wurde ein 'Online-Informations- und Reservierungssystem für die Herberge der BulSU' entworfen und entwickelt. In das entwickelte System wurden verschiedene Funktionen integriert, wie z.B. die Erstellung verschiedener Benutzerkonten für das Personal/den Empfang und die Online-Kunden, Preisaktualisierungen über das Online-Administrationsportal, Zahlungen über das Bankkonto, Bestätigung per E-Mail nach der Reservierung, Erstellung von Berichten über Einnahmen, Kundenzahl und monatliche Berichte, Zählung der Zuschauerzahlen und Einstellungen für Preise, Steuern und andere Rabatte. Visual Basic .Net und ASP .Net wurden für das Front-End des Systems verwendet, während Microsoft Access als Datenbankanwendung und Crystal Report für die Anzeige von Berichten verwendet wurden.
