Vers sauvages est la première partie de mémoire d’exil. Un ensemble de vers sur différents thèmes comme nous les avons classés : amour, société, nature, fables, politique, enseignement, vers de Tunis et vers arabes. Ils résument un peu ma vie. Ils ont commencé par la rage de ma plume. Je ne savais pas comment ils m’arrivaient. Je me levais parfois en pleine nuit pour en écrire certains. Ce sont eux qui m’ont inspiré à écrire le Fils de la marâtre et les Epitres. Les indexes n’y paraissent pas mais la table des matières suffit.
