Die Demokratische Republik Kongo (DRK), ein großes Land in der Mitte des afrikanischen Kontinents, ist reich an natürlichen Ressourcen, aber eines der am wenigsten entwickelten Länder der Welt. Diese Situation ist Gegenstand mehrerer Debatten in unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Wir haben uns für den Industrieförderungsfonds als Untersuchungsfeld entschieden. Wir werden uns auf Unternehmen und gemeinnützige Vereinigungen konzentrieren, die von der FPI/Haut Katanga gefördert wurden, und schließlich auf Personen, die bei dem genannten Unternehmen beschäftigt sind. Nach Michel (2010) ist der Kredit ein hervorragendes Instrument zur Förderung der Privatinitiative und des Unternehmergeistes sowie zur Erreichung nationaler Ziele in Bezug auf Entwicklung, Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und Einkommen. Aufgrund seiner Fähigkeit, einen Teil der Arbeitslosigkeit aufzufangen, indem er dem Wachstum der Erwerbsbevölkerung entgegenwirkt, wird der Kredit zu einem Instrument, das von den Staaten der Entwicklungsländer eingesetzt wird, und alle Initiativen, die darauf abzielen, ihn zu unterstützen, werden gefördert.
