L’eau, ressource vitale et indispensable à toute forme de vie, joue un rôle central dans des secteurs critiques tels que l’industrie pharmaceutique, les applications chimiques et les laboratoires de biologie. Face à la rareté croissante de cette ressource et à la transition énergétique mondiale, la distillation solaire émerge comme une solution durable, alliant enjeux économiques et défis sociaux. Ce travail explore, via une approche expérimentale et numérique, les performances d’un distillateur solaire à double pente conçu pour les régions arides. Un code de calcul développé en langage FORTRAN a permis de modéliser les paramètres clés : températures de fonctionnement, efficacité globale et interne, facteur de performance, et débit de condensat. Les simulations numériques ont été comparées de manière rigoureuse aux données expérimentales recueillies sous les conditions climatiques de la région d’Ouargla (Algérie), offrant ainsi une validation robuste du modèle proposé.
