Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Finanzkrisen erschütterten in den letzten Jahrzehnten nicht nur einzelne Länder und Regionen, sondern sind unabhängig von Gesellschaftsform oder Wirtschaftssystem zu einem globalen Phänomen geworden. Die Liste der von diesen Krisen erschütterten Länder ist lang und seit dem Ende der 70er Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts stark anwachsend. Dabei sind Länder unterschiedlichsten Entwicklungsniveaus diesen Krisen ausgesetzt. Als Beispiele aus jüngster Vergangenheit können u. a. genannt werden: - Die japanische Finanzkrise ab 1989/90. - Die Bankenkrisen in Skandinavien 1987-1994. - Die Peso-Krise in Mexiko 1994. - Die Asien-Krise ab 1997/1998. - Die russische Finanzkrise 1998. - und die Krisen der Länder in Lateinamerika ab 1998. Die enge Interdependenz zwischen krisenhaften Erscheinungen im Banken- und Finanzsektor, der wirtschaftlichen und konjunkturellen Entwicklung einerseits und der staatlichen Einflussnahme auf die Wirtschafts- und Geldpolitik andererseits, machen eine Ursachenanalyse mehr als notwendig. Gang der Untersuchung: Die Häufung und das Ausmaß der Krisen basieren neben dem veränderten institutionellen Umfeld, der raschen finanziellen Globalisierung und der damit verbundenen rapiden Erhöhung der Kapitalmobilität auf einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher endogener und exogener Faktoren, die in den nachfolgenden Ausführungen dargelegt werden sollen. Nach einer Begriffsbestimmung und Abgrenzung werden zunächst kurz allgemein die möglichen Entstehungsfaktoren von Finanzkrisen betrachtet. Es wird insofern auch auf makroökonomische Modelle eingegangen. Im Hauptteil der Arbeit sollen die Ursachen der großen Finanzkrisen in Skandinavien und Lateinamerika analysiert werden.
