Tobias Schürmann befasst sich mit dem kraftstoffeffizienten und lokal emissionsfreien Betrieb von Plug-in-Hybridfahrzeugen. Zur Identifikation der für einen solchen Betrieb entscheidenden prädiktiven Informationen baut er eine Simulationsumgebung bestehend aus einer mikroskopischen Verkehrs- und einer Längsdynamiksimulation auf. Mit dieser Umgebung erzielt der Autor eine parametrierbare und reproduzierbare Analyse der Einflüsse des Verkehrsaufkommens, der Verkehrsregelung, der Fahrweise und weiterer Umgebungsbedingungen auf die Effizienz verschiedener Lade- und Entladestrategien. Seine Umsetzung der hergeleiteten Zusammenhänge in eine regelbasierte prädiktive Betriebsstrategie zeigt, dass die Zielsetzungen miteinander vereinbar sind.
