Es untersucht die Fähigkeit des ANSYS Fluent-Codes, den Luftwiderstandsbeiwert an einer Kugel, einem Zylinder und einem Ahmed-Körper bei Reynolds-Zahlen von 100 bis 4E6 genau vorherzusagen. Es berechnet den Luftwiderstandsbeiwert eines tatsächlichen Automodells für den Audi R8, modifiziert das Modell, um die Luftwiderstandskraft zu reduzieren, und validiert die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung mit den digitalisierten Referenzdaten/ Experimentergebnissen.
