Unterrichtsentwurf aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Geowissenschaften / Geographie, Note: 1.0, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In ihrem Alltag haben die meisten Schüler schon etwas von den gewaltigen Naturkräften der Erde gehört. Immer wieder erschüttern Meldungen über Katastrophen die Bevölkerung. Allerdings haben die wenigsten Schüler diese Kräfte schon an ihrem eigenem Körper gespürt. So entwickeln die Jugendlichen Ängste in Bezug auf das Unbekannte, was sich im Erfolg von sogenannten „Katastrophenfilmen' spiegelt. Diesen Ängsten können wir als Lehrer nur entgegenwirken, in dem wir die Schüler mit den unbekannten Sachverhalten konfrontieren und diese näher betrachten. Durch das Wissen über Vulkane und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Menschheit können meines Erachtens nach die Sorgen der Schüler abgebaut werden.
