Con le riforme dell’istruzione di base in Cina, l’insegnamento dell’inglese nella scuola media ha fatto grandi progressi, ma esistono ancora alcuni problemi. Alcuni insegnanti di scuola media danno eccessiva importanza all’aspetto cognitivo degli studenti, ignorando il loro sviluppo affettivo. Per sviluppare in modo armonioso la cognizione e l’affettività degli studenti e per compensare le scarse capacità linguistiche e oratorie di alcuni insegnanti di inglese delle scuole medie, viene proposto l’insegnamento percettivo dell’inglese. I risultati dello studio empirico dimostrano che l’insegnamento percettivo dell’inglese può essere utile non solo per lo sviluppo cognitivo degli studenti, ma anche per quello affettivo.
