Han pensat alguna vegada perquè quan es parla dels grans genis de la música es fa sempre en masculí? Perquè en les grans enciclopèdies musicals no consta cap o quasi cap nom de dona?Mentre no apareguen els noms, juntament amb els cognoms, de totes les dones compositores no podrem ser conscients del problema que generen els hàbits lingüístics. Si no se les pot veure això les converteix en 'invisibles'. Açò és el que s’ha intentat contrarestar amb el treball 'Unides per la Música', fent un recorregut per tota la història musical, en el qual s’estudien els diferents corrents artístics, junt amb algunes ressenyes històriques i filosòfiques del moment. Apareixen els noms dels autors masculins més rellevants junt amb els de les dones de la mateixa època. Aquest material didàctic ha obtingut el 4t Premi de la convocatòria dels Premis 2006 de la Comunitat Valenciana a la integració dels temes transversals en el currículum.
