'une vie, un orphelin' est un livre sans paroles de 66 pages. Les croquis lâches en noir et blanc raconter l'histoire d'un enfant orphelin abandonné dans une ville. Il rencontre de nombreuses situations difficiles, se retrouve à une gare où une dame le voit et le sauve en l'emmenant dans un orphelinat où elle est la directrice. Il se rend compte que d'autres enfants sont dans la même situation que lui et dans un moment, devient une partie d'une grande famille. Il va à l'école, souffre d'intimidation et de moments difficiles à l'adolescence. Puis il entre à l'université, travaille dur et obtient son diplôme d'enseignant. Sa famille sont les orphelins, il y retourne et est reçu avec une grande pancarte disant 'Bienvenue à la maison enseignant!' L'histoire nous raconte les risques et les vulnérabilités d'un enfant seul à un jeune âge, la résilience d'un être humain, et la victoire de surmonter les difficultés. L'histoire est basée sur la vie réelle d'un orphelin au Mexique. Ce livre peut être apprécié par n'importe quel groupe d'âge.Une partie de ce livre sera reversée à l'orphelinat Casa de la Esperanza à Tijuana, au Mexique.
