OBJECTIFS : Cette étude visait à explorer l’influence du suivi et de l’évaluation sur les performances des gestionnaires dans un établissement de soins de santé primaires du département de santé du sous-district de Qumbu, dans la municipalité du district d’Oliver Tambo. MÉTHODES : Une approche phénoménologique a été adoptée dans cette étude. Plus précisément, une analyse phénoménologique interprétative a été utilisée pour explorer l’influence du suivi et de l’évaluation sur les performances des gestionnaires dans un établissement de soins de santé primaires du département de santé du sous-district de Qumbu, dans la municipalité du district d’Oliver Tambo. Les données ont été recueillies à l’aide d’un format d’entretien semi-structuré auprès de 8 gestionnaires de cliniques sélectionnés de manière pratique. Les données ont été analysées à l’aide du cadre d’analyse phénoménologique interprétative de Smith (2005).
