El cuerpo ha sido la herramienta del intérprete teatral en toda la historia del teatro, y el mimo, como arte escénico aporta en la formación del actor herramientas para llegar a niveles de expresión poética, artística, significativa. La lingüística y la semiótica en aplicación a los aportes pedagógicos de los grandes maestros del mimo: Jacques Copeau, Etienne Decroux y Jacques Lecoq, serán el punto de partida para lograr una metodología para la construcción de transfiguraciones gestuales en la creación de signos no verbales. Además apoyamos este trabajo con estudios e investigaciones sobre expresión corporal del maestro Petronio Cáceres. Los principios de apertura-cerramiento, contrapesos, impulso y contraimpulso, tono muscular, dentro de un proceso de vectorización, permiten esta aproximación metodológica hacia la poética corporal.
